Our traditional pub has been stylishly refurbished to make it the perfect place to find a cosy corner.

Story

Inside you will find roaring log fires, a unique dining room and comfy armchairs to while away the afternoon.

There are several great things I could say about this pub so I feel it only fair to give it some well deserved credit. The food is just AMAZING, accompanied by beer of a pleasant price (hard to find in the south east!). I went in for a Sunday roast last week and the service was terrific. I was served by a beautiful waitress with dark hair and a lovely and welcoming smile, it was clearly a busy day but herself and the rest of the staff really kept it together and worked in a very professional manner. It's safe to say I will be returning to this magnificent hideaway pub soon.

Food amazing. Drink choices amazing. Staff amazing. I stayed here too as a single woman and felt comfortable and well looked after. Rooms and facilities were lovely too. Can't rate highly enough!

Great to have so many vegetarian/vegan options without mushrooms! Superb desserts too. Will definitely visit again.

Nice decor and food with friendly service...however just after finishing our main course we were asked to vacate the table as they have a 1.5 hour time on the table! The food service was also a little slow which didn’t help! Furthermore the Dulce de Leche lava bomb on the menu was actually a chocolate fondant with a spoon of caramel on the top! Apart from these small issues all else was great, nice place for a Sunday roast or meal with family :-)
