Best Gyoza I’ve had in life ever.. I did initially question the addition of cheese to the chicken gyoza but the combination was perfect - like nothing else available.Food: 5/5
I had to ask myself how can so much flavour be happening in my mouth at the same time? Perfect parcels of pure enjoyment, served on a bed of the chubbiest, meltiest noodles I ever had. I was very sad when I saw I only had one gyoza left, but very happy while I was eating it. Got me in my existential feels, contemplating endings and shid. Had to have second helpings, life affirming food Dietary restrictions: Vegan gyoza was fragrant and satisfying. Kid-friendliness: Almost everyone on Maltby St is in a very good mood, so accommodating of my little one who wanted to see everything.
Hands down the best Gyozas you’ll ever experience I’ve tried many and will always return for a taste off these delicious, perfectly cooked parcels of joy Chef Amir is constantly experimenting with new flavours and ways to deliver his food The passion and dedication shows with the work that goes into selling these at the market every week I’m grateful that they’ve made it through 2020 and 2021 and will no doubt keep going from strength to strength In an ever changing landscape of Maltby street traders this business has remained a familiar landmark and reference point Try them any time of the day to satisfy your umami desires and quell that need for some spice in your life!

Some of the best street food I've ever had! I got the mi goreng udon with satay, which was so flavour-packed and delicious. The chili oil which they sell in jars is to die for. The staff were also delightful and were able to provide recommendations, as it was my first time there.Food: 5/5

Awesome gyoza, generously filled, delicious sauces on top. I went to Maltby Street Market specifically for them and I didn't get disappointed. I'm so glad that they convinced me to take the bento box because I almost liked the Udon noodles and the salad more than the gyoza. The more I ate, the more I liked it. As you eat, you get trough layers and layers of Japanese cuisine flavour. It was great, I will definitely go and find them again!
