Khanom Krok has been around for more than 350 years. It is made in special Khanom Krok pan. Khanom Krok consists of two layers of slightly different types of batter. Genuinely the best mango sticky rice I've had. Mangoes were fresh and sweet. Rice was gloriously sticky, flavourful and steaming hot. The coconut cream added so much depth as well. Highly recommend.Food: 5/5
I had the Prawn Pad Thai when I was in London, and I have to admit that it was really good. It was filled with shrimp, chicken and egg. Although not particularly extraordinary, the food was tasty. Lines were not long, and staff was really nice.Food: 4/5
Had the pad Thai. It was super delicious! The gravy mixed really well with the rest of the ingredients and I could justify the price by the size of the prawns - think they put in 4-5 pieces of them in there. Absolutely recommended!Recommended dishes
The mango sticky rice is nice, but it’s a bit too hot. It’s a desert so serving it in warm temperature would be better. But it’s still nice! The coconut pancake tastes nice too but for 5GBP the portion is bit too humbleFood: 3/5
The food was super nice and the staffs were fantastic. I got very good services from them with their kindness and friendliness. I'm sure I will go back to try it again!Food: 5/5
It is definitely authentic Thai taste and really delicious. The Beef Penang is incredibly tender and intense. One of the best dishes you should try is the chicken satay. Although there is a long line, the staffs can manage the order quickly. We recommend you to arrive before noon. There is no line and it is not crowded.
Visited at the Borough Market on a Tuesday afternoon market was very busy. Ordered the vegetable pad Thai, and it was decent - found ourselves wishing it had more flavor or seasoning of some sort. Portion was good for price. They only accept card or digital payment.Food: 4/5
I paid £14 for a large box of Thai green curry on an outing to borough market and it was awful. Thai Street food is supposed to be delicious this was not. Cheap ingredients and to make matters worse the staff were rude and arrogant. What a complete rip off. Do not go to this food stand to waste your money. On a bad day with a headache or a cold any amateur could cook a better Thai curry at home with ingredients bought from tescos. These people are a disgrace and should be ashamed of themselves. The Thai Embassy and it's culinary division if it had one, LOL needs to shut this place down, for damaging their country's well earned reputation of creating fine foods.
This was my first ever mango sticky rice of life and I am thankful that it turned out to be creamy and healthy dessert to have after hogging in borough market Food: 5/5
Khanom Krok had fabulous gluten free beef panang and mango sticky rice. Delicious. Staff seemed like they had better things to do than take orders, though.Food: 5/5
