Gym is clean and tidy with plenty of equipment. I tend to go off peak so haven't noticed any issues accessing equipment, but could be different at peak times. Equipment quality is great with a mixture of machine and free weights. Aerobic equipment is also good but doesn't feature TV screens etc like other gyms so if your a runner or cyclist best take some music.

A very good price, open 24 hours and the cleanest gym I have ever used. Free classes if classes are your thing and free parking. There is no pool or sauna etc but for me actually a good thing as it makes me more likley to get a decent workout and not distracted by the frilly bits.

Been attending this gym for nearly 3 years now and can not fault it. Amazing value for money, great equipment and I love attending the morning classes. The regulars in the morning are friendly and I have made some great friends. Can't praise Nathan and Donna enough. They are the only 2 pts that have been continuous members of staff, other pts have come and gone but these 2 have stayed put and kept this gym going. The gym wouldn't be the same without them. Friendly, both take great classes, and push you throughout. This gym is my happy place

Good value for money and lots of aerobic equipment. The weights area has plenty of benches and free weights to go around and there are lots of weight machines too.  It could do with another x2 bench press as there is often a wait for this even at 10pm.  I rarely see the staff as they only work 8-8pm and I work out after they leave.  2hrs free Parking is a great plus though! Just don't forget to enter your registration plate into the machine when you enter or you will get stung

This is a clean well kept gym by the staff. It's just a pity people can't respect others and put the weights they use away. Perhaps they should  bring their mum along  to clean up after them. I suppose it's the same in other gyms, some people just got to spoil it for others. Luckily the staff are there to wipe the sweat off benches and to put their weights away. Keeping the place clean and tidy.

Been a member since opening day as I had a look around before it opened. As a shift worker it's ideal because it's pretty much empty when I go. I did go at 5.30pm once rammed brilliantly machinery clean changing rooms and great parking. I transferred from pure gym and will be staying

This gym has great classes, awesome equipment and brilliant PT's! Great vibe at the gym and always feel good coming here after work. Clean and tidy facility offering everything at a great affordable price.

Whilst there is a lot of floor space and equipment,i find the atmosphere a bit 'flat'. Music is quiet. Don't know why they bother to play anything as it just sounds like whispered piped music. I've noticed some reviews mentioning 'rude staff'. Can't comment as I've only ever spoken to two member's of staff. Which leads me on to my biggest criticism: the temperature! Why is it so cold? Like I've said,I've mentioned it twice. They didn't respond by being rude,just indifference. They blow cold air in the gym,which bugs the hell out of me. working up a sweat =cold clammy skin. The men's changing rooms are freezing,i don't even bother showering anymore. The water is warm,but step outside the cubicle and you might as well walk into a fridge. Again for some reason,they blow cold air into the changing room.Zero heating. For such a large gym there is no need to try and 'cool' the place down. It's Newport...not LA on a hot day. I'm cancelling my membership as joining the Velodrome gym which put's on spinning classes and has a sauna. Oh...and it's warmer!

Cheap prices and plenty of kit.  Ideally needs a seperate area for classes.  Need to get members to tidy weights up after themselves though rather than ignore it.  Changing rooms are cold
