Story

Opened in late 2005, this DW Sports Fitness conveniently located at Maesglas, is a bit like Dr Who's Tardis; it looks small from the outside but inside the club opens up into a very spacious and luxurious club. We boldly state that there is no better equipped club for miles around. Thats a big statement but check out the club for yourself and you will see where our confidence derives from. We are confident that we can provide you with everything you need.

Poor customer service. I went to the gym to cancel my membership due to relocation with work, but they constantly say their manager is not in to ring the customer services I have been ringing the customer service number but waiting for over an hour to connect each time. when you want to join it's possible from anywhere and any staff can do but when you want to leave no one can do anything. staff simply don't care.

I pay £30 a month which is the dearest gym locally and yet there's no aircon & the equipment is rank......gutted I'm in a 12month contract. They always tell me the aircon will be fixed soon. 4 months later !😴

Really disappointed. The gym is really run down and although there are cleaning staff working the condition of parts of the changing and spa area are beyond the cleaning capabilities of a mop, they need tearing out and starting again. I would go home to shower because of the mould. The gym area itself is not attended enough and therefore equipment is not looked after by users with many weights and damaged and dropped without care. I was paying above average for the area and soon found myself joining and attending a much cleaner better maintained 'budget' gym for a 3rd if the price for the majority of my membership and enjoying it far more.

Really poor customer service. Should stop worrying about trying to get people in and actually look after the members they have. I waited for my 12 month contract to be up, and then even then they were really awkward about cancelling my membership. I'll be going elsewhere next time

This gym is great. Staff super friendly, the changing rooms are clean, pool is small but does the trick. Gym is fully equipped, nice atmosphere and CLEAN. Every time I've been I've ALWAYS seen someone cleaning the place, other people saying this doesn't happen are simply liars.
