The Gym London Colindale

Lockers are half broken, the only items that are not covered in dust are the weights as they are always in use. Had a look at the vents in the shower and they look like they never been cleaned since they were put in. People leaving underwear and socks around the gym for some reason and they stay there for a while. Used to go here before covid and always saw someone cleaning around, it wasn't great but not the disgusting place it is now. Been coming for a few months now and haven't seen once someone cleaning I don't think they have a cleaner at all they just expect people will clean the gym for them. Unfortunately I made the mistake to do a 12 month contract but as soon as that complets I'll be moving from here I just hope I don't catch something before that.

I didn’t sign up for an open air gym, please close those windows manually because the temperature outside is below zero. There is a morbid silence in the gym, should I bring a book to read? Some of the equipment is out of action for few months, don’t tell me you’ve raised the issue and someone is on the way because I know is just indifference. Take action and improve the cleanliness in the gym because you are pushing good members away.

There is some positive energy in this gym at Colindale, whenever I go to the gym you can feel positive, the members are very polite and some have become friends! The trainers are all above excellence and some of the trainers are celebrities in their own right: one trainer is a BFBB pro champion and the others are equally qualified in their field! The weights and dumbbells are excellent and the management are helpful and responsive for any issues I have faced like the cool ac on a cold winter morning so all good at this gym!

I love this gym! Spacious, clean, a wide range of equipment, friendly staff, positive atmosphere. All perfect!5 star to personal trainer Laurence ,he is professional and has great communication skills!

The place is very clean, classes are good and the staff are very friendly. It’s my favourite gym.

Further update After ANOTHER refresh still no wheelchair accessible equipment and the broken lockers are still in place, I had to use my phone case to get my stuff out this morning. It’s close and cheap, not enough to earn one star but you can’t give no stars. After so many ‘refreshes’ where nothing changes I can only conclude that they just don’t care about disabled people and that they know the lockers won’t feature in instagram posts. Update,the accessible door is out of use, water pours down the stairs and I just spent 5 minutes trying to open my locker. They have repainted the walls every few months and updated the app. Lipstick on a pig. Oh it’s alright, but there are still no machines that wheelchair users can use despite them using a disabled model in their advertising. My husband would love a gym he can wheel to but the Gym group thinks an accessible door and a lift makes a gym accessible. So bored of raising this with successive managers.

I don't know who the manager is of Colindale gym but it is in TERRIBLE condition! It needs a MAJOR refurb / cleaning /sanitising done . Water leak being ignored where the step machines are . Machines aren't working properly, these are very dirty / muddy /dusty /smelly / not sanitised. Couldn't find any sanitising solution to wipe off before/after use. No staff available to ask for sanitising solution . COVID welcome in this place ....

Best gym , 24/7 access cheap,no monthly contract ,always clean, Has all you need professional equipment and lovely staff.

Worst TheGymGroup in the area. Never anyone to talk to after 5pm. Paid for months but was unable to use as error with code. I was paying and unable to use. No one ever to contact or call with any issues with getting in on the day. Unacceptable!

Best value for price. I really like that it has plenty of machines and it is open 24x7. The cleanness is good, and its mobile app is very good too.
