Had a really nice lunch there. Can thoroughly recommend the ham egg and chips. Drinks weren't expensive either.

We had a funeral there in one of there private rooms. It was clean and well laid out. The staff was lovely and the tea and coffee was very tasty .

Twice in one day! We were attendeing a funeral round the corner and popped in for a sandwich before hand. The staff were friendly and polite, the bar area and seating area were clean and fresh looking. After the funneral we were told to join them at the wake at the Gun! 

This time we were in the large function room too the side with a private bar. The bar service was very good here and the food spread was one of the best I've seen. I assume there are different packages etc but the range was from cocktail sausages to breaded prawns to mini pizza breads to onion bhajis to pork pies to chips and also fried cheese dippers. There were also 3 or 4 larfe whole cakes for sweets! The milk ran out a few times for the tea and coffee but nothing major. 

Thank you for making a sombre day so pleasant.
