Friendly staff but awful food. Been feeling unwell since I had it yesterday. The smothered chicken burger was mostly dry and sweet potato fries were bland and overcooked, didn’t even finish them. Won’t be returning.
Very good value tasty wholesome food, excellent fast service from friendly helpful front of house staff. Good relaxing atmosphere definitely recommend coming here. Need to get more orange bread and butter pudding as it was all gone.Food: 5/5
We both had the special offer of 2 courses for £13.99. Delicious turkey dinner with all the trimmings and chicken liver and brandy pate with slice of brown bloomer bread toasted and balsamic onion confit for starters. Great service and food came out hot and arrived quickly. Would definitely recommend for good value!Food: 5/5
To be honest if I could rate it a 0 I would. I’m not one for negative reviews but I think that people need to be aware before wasting money. The service was absolutely awful and the staff we encountered were extremely moody. I was given a chipped glass which has cut my lip as I didn’t notice until it was too late. We went for the carvery but when we arrived we were told they didn’t have any, received no apology. We didn’t have any food in the end as in our opinion all the other food is awful. Also bumped into another couple who were desperately trying to find a staff member as there just seemed to be none around. I highly recommend going somewhere else if you want a pleasant time.
We visited as a party of 9 and were seated promptly. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially Molly behind the bar who took our order when we were using a voucher and needed to place multiple orders. She was very patient with us! Food was great and the kids meal deals are really good value. Claire was our server and she went above and beyond especially when our baby kept wanting to stroke her hand tattoos >.< Kid-friendliness: High chairs available, soft play small but good and kids meals great value
Had a amazing evening meal here with top notch service. The food came out quick and was very fresh. Molly brought our food to us and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend
It was a busy Sunday afternoon when we went. The kid had fun in the play area but was very busy in there. The carvary was good but the mixed grill we ordered was over cooked and tested like it had been left under the heat lamp for half an hour.Food: 1/5
Amble parking. Good service. Good food. GREAT value for money clean and go a few times a year. That is alot as I only dine out maybe once a month if not every other. Not far from m5 or m42 and a nice, fairly quiet area. Would recommend.Food: 4/5
Wow. If I could give no stars, I would. Booked in between Christmas and New year for birthdays. On entering, only one person serving. Que built up very quick. I'm guessing staff had not turned in. Obviously no contingency in place. Those few staff that were in, really did not care. I'm guessing they gave up a long time ago! The wait for food was an hour. The food turned up a bit at a time for our party of 9, not all together as it should have. My own order of the chicken and bacon salad was of very very poor standard to say the least and for the price of it, was disgusting. Supermarket budget ingredients that are out of date would have been of far superior quality. Whilst I can appreciate it could be a busy time, it's no excuse for poor quality, standards and service. Have been in the past and feel it has majorly gone down hill and will not be returning.
Food....average. Main course of a beef Wellington was OK but the pudding was a strange concoction of a chocolate dome with ice cream, but custard to pour over it. Didn't really go together. Atmosphere...not the best. Lots of kids running around all over the place with their being a play area joined on to the restaurant. Service....zero stars. Absolute shambles. Only 2 people behind the bar/serving. Main course took an age to come out, then the pudding even longer, as well as our dirty Main course plates remaining on the table not being collected.
