Nice little place but be aware this is a small place and gets very full during live shows. I'm not a regular so cannot comment on other entertainment but the band that was on seemed good.  There is limited seating so for persons who cannot stand for long periods or in a wheel chair have issues to find a suitable comfortable place.

My band Velvet Jam played here last night and it was one of the best gigs we’ve had. Super friendly owners and bar staff, great atmosphere and crowd. Highly recommend this place for a few beers and some great music

not a bad word to say about the hop pole. staff are always brilliant, drinks choice is spot on for a smaller pub. if you’re looking for a chill vibe, this place is for you

Popped on for a drink with family/friends for my moms birthday. Cider was flat and really expensive for a local pub and there is absolutely zero air circulation inside so its stuffy, smelly, sweaty and hot! We left after an hour which is a shame as the band were really good but couldn't breath in there. Bot our sort of place for sure!

Fab night out at the Hop Pole Bromsgrove,! Great atmosphere! Loz Rabone an accoustic Artist, fantastic singer and guitarist. Playing accoustic covers from 60's to modern day. Would definitely recommend to listen to his music and a fab night at the Hop Pole Inn!

Great live music venue and reasonable prices.

Fridays are great fun with the live band.  Good atmosphere and friendly staff and customers.  Really enjoy the live bands but can be too loud at times and so sound is distorted or too much bass.  Overall, a great night out.

I love the place ! Every time I'm in there on a Friday or a Saturday watching a band I have a smile on my face, it's a relaxing, happy atmosphere,  with never a hint of aggression, I don't know if they do food, they close a little bit earlier than most pubs, but if you feel like more, you can just walk around the corner into the town, but most the time I feel like I've had my lot, and head home content .
