Lovely building that was originally a lecture hall which opened on 20/06/1911 and named in honour of king George V. Quite a few stairs to contend with so unsuitable for disabled folk. No outside seating. Pub was quiet at midday on the Saturday we visited. Toilets are downstairs. Menu is limited compared to other Spoons. Pint of Bud light is £2.49. Nice experience. Staff & customers seemed friendly. Pub is clean & relaxing.
Gee whillakers! This was my first ever time at a spoons and BOY did it exceed my expectations. As an Australian in London, home often feels far away, but not here. Surrounded by friends, laughter and that classic spoons ambience, it’s hard not to feel embraced by the warm hug of this place. The buttermilk chicken burger was really… something. Maybe don’t order that one.
Been coming here for a while now and I must say it is lovely!! The food was really nice and came out in a superb amount of time, they had colouring available for my children which is a life saver. The staff are really friendly and it’s nice to see them look happy whilst working, they all work really hard. I’ve met the manager of the pub as well and she is lovely, really welcoming and u can tell she cares about her staff. Really nice to see. Defo will always return!!
Eliza is an absolute star at the Coronation Hall Pub! From the moment you walk in, she makes everyone feel genuinely welcome with her warm smile and friendly personality. Her customer service is outstanding—she’s attentive, efficient, and always goes the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect.nnEven when the pub is busy, Eliza stays calm, professional, and keeps the atmosphere fun and welcoming. It’s clear she works incredibly hard and truly cares about her customers. Great service like hers is a big reason people keep coming back.nnIf you’re visiting the Coronation Hall Pub, I hope you’re lucky enough to be served by Eliza. She deserves every bit of recognition for the fantastic job she does!
this spoons is a very nice pub ,it is large with an upper floor as well. The staff and service were great and certainly recommend to anyone thinking of visiting.
