Visit the Coronation Hall fairly often as its close to the train station and reasonable prices.nnCurry Club is decent, get plenty of it and served hot and fresh with a drink for around £10.nnBeing a Wetherspoons it's just a normal pub, but do find it very dark and pretty dull inside.nnIt is getting more and more difficult to find a seat to go and eat and have a few pints now, the abundance of plug sockets means people are coming in early with their laptops and having just a single unlimited coffee - while hogging the booth one person to each all day.nnThe toilets are mostly always vandalised - not sure why it's such a hotspot but often trashed.nnUpdated 26/07/2024:nDowngraded based on food and drink quality. The bottle of beer was mostly warm. And the food was not good. Although was supposed to be a small fish and chips - under the batter was just like a goldfish. Nothing there. The chips were stone cold. Only thing that tasted good were there mushy peas which were freshly hot.
Came here specifically for lunch as lively venue. Food always good in Weatherspoons and quick service, great prices
The Coronation Hall Wetherspoon in Surbiton offers a truly regal ambience that makes you feel like royalty. The food is delicious, especially the chicken wings and Leffe beer. However, it's the stunning ambience that truly sets this place apart. Highly recommended for a special dining experience!
I was unaware of this beautiful early 20th century building for a long time, and only discovered that Surbiton had a Wetherspoons on YouTube. Inside it is a long hall, with a balcony at the end. There are nice seats next to the windows at the front, but it gets darker as you get to the end of the building. Lovely decoration.nnFood is standard Wetherspoons. Beer selection is pretty good. Prices are very reasonable.
I love going here until I was told i wasn't allowed my support dog in with me. I used to go several times a week with my support dog until one staff member refused us as I didn't have a collar on on recognised I'm not blindnnThe rest of the staff are lovely!nnGreat for a cheap pint as you can see by all the red roses everywhere at 9 AMnnOne staff member needs retraining in disabilities apart from that no complaints
