8 people birthday lunch. Fantastic vegan Sunday roast for some. Meat for others. Well worth the money. Waitress was lovely and very efficient. Food nice and fresh, served hot and all in one go. Tables spaced well outside in the sunshine. Sanitizer supplied at entrance and by outside toilet. Will definitely go again.
This is a lovely pub, conveniently located just opposite the Jane Austen House Museum. Great food, spacious garden, very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend the fish and chips.
OMG !! This food was amazing !! The service was fantastic especially from Josh but everyone extremely polite and helpful. Will definitely be going back to try more on the menu. The chef has talent it looked stunning.
Lovely Sunday lunch. Perfect beef and all the trimmings. Very scrumy belly pork. We also shared a very generous cheese board. Delicious variety of cheese. Social distancing was well observed and the staff were really kind and welcoming. Would highly recommend.

The Greyfriar is so lovely, warm and welcoming ... good food, excellent customer service, and in a gorgeous setting ... what more could you want?!
First meal out post lockdown and it was a real treat. The staff were welcoming, service was great. Excellent menu and wine list. The highlight was the food though. Just fantastic. We hadn’t visited The Greyfriar for a few years but it is now my favourite pub. Highly recommend.
Excellent food and excellent service. Thouroughly recommend.
I went with some friends to the pub on a lovely Monday evening and we had a lovely meal, the staff were attentive and polite, the food was fresh and flavoursome. The cherry on top was that the owner checked on how our meal was, on his day off, which is not something I have experienced before. I will be making this my local pub.
