Cheap and functional. Room had no window except in the ensuite and the lock on the door jammed easily. Ideally they would like to see proof of address in the current situation, though nothing in the booking process through Booking.com said to bring this.

What a great experience,  relaxed atmosphere, Track & Trace well executed. Good Quality food and friendly staff.

You wouldn't expect this kind of service and that good food in a high street hotel restaurant - strongly recommend!

Very kind and efficient staff. Clean and all the rules observed. Extremely strong airfreshener scents from somewhere so they immediately moved me. Bed clothes also smelled v v strongly of chemicals

Love it down the crown

Plain and simple. Village pub type place. Nice beer,  bit limited on food but lots of local places to eat.

Basic functional room with quite poor lighting. Woken up at 3am by somebody crashing about in the room above. Breakfast on offer from 8:30am but the hotel seemed to have no staff on duty up until the time we left hungry at 8:50
