This pub is great. The staff is very friendly, the food is very tasty, the portions are huge, and the price is good as well. If you are looking for a traditional English pub that serves mostly meat, this place is the perfect choice for you.
I was told by the bar staff there was a limited menu when I ordered. They still were able to produce this amazing Mixed Grill. Everything so beautifully cooked, the hand cut chips to die for. Thank you to the staff of The Green.

According to the website this place is open from 12 midday till midnight on Saturdays. Unfortunately, it still wasn't open by 12.30 so my family and I, all adults went elsewhere. We also had a dog so took our chances, but there's no indication anywhere to say if dogs are welcome or not.
This place is a hidden gem. Delicious food at a reasonable price. Its immaculate inside. Staff are lovely. Real coal fire decent parking. Book to avoid disappointment.
Went here based on reviews and wasn't dissapointed. Spot on Sunday dinner, reasonably priced. Probably be there next Sunday and many to come....
Take out meals are the best around great value for money.very popular to eat in aswell.FAB!
