Lovely food and good portions. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
I've been going for quite a few weeks on and off and it's always been really good. However this Sunday wasn't the best our food arrived cold and the beef was undercooked. Staff are very attentive and feeindly hopefully a 1 off.
Staff are very friendly and the food was delicious and good value for money. Our dog was also made very welcome.

The serving assistant was very pleasant and welcoming, couldn't do enough for us. Food was really nice and the kids really enjoyed jumping on the free bouncy castle. All in all a really nice place and the owners are so accommodating when it comes to kids parties and the such. Well worth a look. Thanks Claire and Neil. They also own The Burn in willington which is top ranking in our books.
My friends parents were the landlords going back when I was a child. It was good to visit again and found it to have friendly landlords and staff. It was good to reminisce with my sister of happy childhood days. The pub was smaller then and much darker, now it benefits from a large extension and brighter tasteful lighting. It was a shame we had already eaten as the smell from the kitchen and the meals being served looked amazing with large potions too. We shall return to sample the food, to meet the landlords and staff and reminisce once again.
We went for Sunday lunch can highly recommend the food everything was delicous. Wide choice of meats. Everything was fresh great home Yorkshire puddings. Homemade crumble. Staff were very friendly
Went for Sunday lunch, food was beautiful veg came separate we opted for the extra meat and yorkshire pudding £3 extra You could choose three meats. All delicious piping hot. Will be back again very soon!!
Had lunch with my family at the farrers today for my birthday. The meals were all excellent and Michelle the landlady is always very friendly and accommodating. Definitely highly recommend this pub.
Really good meals. Superb cottage pie with veg, and good chilli with all the trimmings. Good range of drinks. Really nice servers at the bar and in the restaurant.
