Booked on an offer for 4 of us. Hard to get through on the phone tried 4 days until i got past the answer phone had an hour of vr golf. Enjoyed it. Kids enjoyed it. Next time will do 2 hours as being beginners we didn't get past the 3rd hole in an hour.
Good lively sports bar excellent atmosphere. Recommended for watching the football.
Decent for watching sports, plenty of good quality screens! Beers are at a decent price for Manchester too! We played golf in one of the booths, good crack and something different! Only downside they wanted £200 for the booth that we'd just played golf in for boxing, which wasn't exactly private as the rest of the bar could see your booth as well...seemed pretty pointless really as there's loads of TVs around the bar showing the boxing for free....
Had a team building event here. Had an amazing time! Looked after us from the moment we stepped through the doors, the guys on the bar were very friendly, a good laugh. There's so much to do! Golf pool fuss ball and we even had a go on the karaoke there was something for everyone on our team. Good beer good food and good staff. We'll deffinately be back.
Generally not full of the nicest people. Bit of a poor beer selection and slightly pricey. Staff seem nice enough and it has sport boxing and football on though. Some may appreciate the virtual golf too.
Nice enough if you want to go out with all male company, but waited an hour for nachos, and all TVs in the palace were showing football results instead of any sport - not my idea of a sports bar. Won't be back sorry guys I am sure you are all nice and work hard but it was not my cup of tea.
The green is a nice friendly sports bar in central Manchester, the staff are friendly, the bar is spacious and clean. The food is average bar food, nothing much beyond frozen stuff cooked to order so expect a 15 minute wait minimum. The drink selection is average to good, regularly changing selection of largers and ales. Overall don't expect something amazing but still a great bar for a drink while watching live sports on TV.
Not exactly my idea of a night outs entertainment but I can certainly see how people like it. We had 2 hours of video golf and xbox games followed by 2 hours of private booth kareoke. I like how these are set up and all were fully functioning and it was nicely separated from the rest of the venue to give your party some privacy. Drinks were OK price and decent, we didn't eat there so I can't comment on food. The one thing I would say is if you are doing the kareoke make sure you have a large party, it is situated in a corner of the basement well away from everything else. Nobody but your party will be singing or even watching. We had people leave before the kareoke and with only a few left the fun drained out of it pretty quick. All round though, great place if your into this sort of thing.
Worst golf experience I've ever had. It kept saying I sliced it. I'll have you know that I'm long and straight off the tee. I couldn't keep the ball out of the woods. If it wasn't for the rancid weather I would have avoided this place. Wish I'd stayed home and drank Dr Pepper on the sofa. AVOID.
Was here for a few drinks at around 1800 - nice view out over the river and surrounding area. Enjoyable enough afternoon, doorman recommended several other places and was a great help. Toilets were stinking
