This is one of the best course in the country for £12 during the week its a no brainer! Had a great time with 2 of my friends plenty of people playing and all show great etiquette! Highly Recommend

Without doubt one of the best municipal courses in the country. The course was open today but at 9.30 was unplayable with the greens frozen. Customer service good with staff giving credit note. Plenty of people playing and ok if you want driving practise and a walk.

I’ve played here a lot over the years and the new guys running it have got it into the best condition I’ve ever seen it. Quite hilly and a lot of blind shots but if you’re hitting it straight it’s not a problem. Some excellent holes and some amazing views. One of the best courses in the north west without a doubt.

Excellent walking with the dogs, didn't realise golf course was so big. It's no wonder golfers are a fit bunch.

Good course as it's always open with full summer greens in winter, however the first tee can be chaotic with crowds of up to 20 golfers just waiting to tee off.  Needs managing better as it's a shame people will just walk away
