Beautiful little independently run tea shop/florist/arts and crafts shop with lots of classes and workshops available. Wonderful loose leaf tea selection and delicious coffee...don't miss out on their homemade cakes either. The place is crammed with flowers and crafts which makes it a treat for the eyes. Round the back is a space where they do classes, plus a small but lovely pizza restaurant. Placed right in the very pretty village, so makes for a perfect meeting spot.

I absolutely love this place. It's so warm and welcoming. I love the atmosphere and it takes you back in time drinking your coffee and eating the home baked cakes off the old school desks.

We stopped in for an afternoon tea while on a tour and had a great time.  Excellent tea selection with fresh homemade scones and jam.

Excellent home made cakes, scones, quiche. Aside selection or special teas and coffees. Quirky gifts and crafts, flowers, and a friendly atmosphere. The cafe is situated on The Village Green, the picturesque historical centre of Washington, the ancestral home of George Washington, the first American President. The Green Cafe looks out onto the pretty Village Green, facing the Old Blacksmith's Forge, sheltering beneath the old Village Church. The cafe is very popular with local residents, and visitors who enjoy coffee and cake in very pretty surroundings. Well worth a visit.
