Not local living in Leeds, so haven’t physically visited this shop but managed to order some flowers for delivery to the Jesmond area whilst between patients in a busy clinic which is a testament to how easy the online order process is! When I had ordered and realised my sister was not going to be in to receive the flowers I emailed Pip and she replied very quickly, despite the shop not even being open at the time, to let me know she would move the date of the delivery. She then emailed me the day of the delivery to let me know the flowers would arrive that day. Flowers were gorgeous and Pip’s customer service was amazing.
Flower folk is my favourite plant shop in Newcastle, I try to visit every two weeks! There are constantly new house plants and beautiful flowers. The team there are extremely friendly and very creative. I have bought several gifts for others and for myself from flower folk and they NEVER disappoint. On top of this you are greeted by an adorable little spaniel called Ziggy! I definitely recommend taking a trip to see what they have in store.
Googled florists in Newcastle am London based, amongst the many uninspiring websites of florists that were listed I came across this gem - The Flower Folk. Instantly loved their style of flower arranging so ordered a very sweet wee bouquet for my Aunty who called me immediately after receiving them to tell me how gorgeous they were. She was most definitely very happy with them. Ordering online very late at night from The flower folk was incredible easy and the flowers were delivered the next day. Highly recommend them!
In searching Newcastle florists, I was first drawn to The Flower Folk because of their unique, elegant bouquets on offer. They have a slightly less "constructed" or tightly formal look, compared to most florists' bouquets, and I love that each style is named after a different town in the North of England. The bouquet my friend received when I ordered it from The Flower Folk is every bit as artistic and beautiful as the website photos promised. But I was just as impressed with the service as I was with the quality of the product. The delivery fee is very reasonable -- lower than any other I saw in my online search. And the person I spoke with on the phone, when I followed up on my on-line order, could not have been more courteous or more helpful. Finally, even though I ordered the bouquet delivery quite late mid afternoon, when I told the kind people at The Flower Folk that the flowers were for a grieving friend and I wanted to get them to her as soon as possible, they were still able to deliver the flowers by the end of the work day. My friend said they could not have arrived at a more perfect time. So I just want to say that these small touches in customer service really make a difference, and I'm very grateful to The Flower Folk.
Local opinion. Tried to buy some flowers for Mother’s Day and it felt as if we were causing massive annoyance to them. Got the sense they didn’t want us there. Rude, no manners or thank yous despite a purchase. Won’t be using again.
Recently ordered a bouquet to be delivered to a local venue for my Wife for our 1st wedding anniversary. Just wanted to say what a fantastic service I received from Pip and a lovely bouquet, delivered on time and as requested. Thank you very much for a 5* service, can recommend to anyone and wouldn't hesitate to use again.
My daughter and I came upon this shop by accident. Ziggy the dog caught our attention first, so glad he did. We went in and discovered the most perfect roses I've ever seen. Will be going back regularly from now on.
Hip flower shop filled with beautiful plants and interesting gifts. Friendly and knowledgeable staff will rustle you up an artisan bouquet or help you find that perfect Christmas present for the relatives that already have everything!
Something different to the normal supermarkets offering, well worth a visit here.
Amazing flowers which have lasted for weeks. I chose the large seasonal bunch, they were arranged beautifully. My new go to for flowers.
