A local favorite. Have been coming here for over 2 years with little variation in the overall quality of the food. The ingredients are always fresh, vegetables are crunchy and never over cooked. More importantly, the food is healthy and not dripping in oil as is the case with many Thai restaurants. Highly recommend for visitors and locals alike. A huge selection of vegetarian options.
Went to this restaurant as a recommendation from a close friend. Coming from Asia, the atmosphere made me feel at home. The waiting staff was friendly and helpful. They are very welcoming and taking good care of their customers. We came to this small restaurant two years ago and liked it. We decided to come back for lunch after shopping in Mayfair. Enjoyed the food, beer and the customer service We will rerun when we visit London again and will recommend to our friends.
You must try their Tom Yum chicken noodles. The chicken was so tender and the flat rice noodles just soaked up all the yummy soup. The duck tamarind goes so well with rice that’ll make me come back again. The morning glory is on the sweet side and their sticky rice is a little bit dry for me. Service is quick and very friendly.Food: 5/5

It’s a busy place and I can see why. Lovely food that comes in big portions and reasonably priced. The squid was tasty and the drinks were good too, but the pad Thai from here is probably one of the best I’ve had in London.Food: 5/5
Was passing by randomly and went in — what a great surprise!! A relatively small restaurant, but has a very big menu with authentic Thai dishes. Super tasty, freshly made with fresh ingredients! Service was good too! The best Thai we have had in London so far! Definitely will revisit!

The best central London Thai restaurant I have been, we went there as a recommendation of a Thailand friend and we got the best local food you can have also he said it was pretty close to original thai there! we ordered a set of tofu curry, noddles, vegetables, chicken cashew nut, fried rice and more! Service was really kind and desserts were so good! Fried banana local is a bit tiny and will be better to book in advance!
I recently visited "The Great Thai Restaurant" and it was a decent experience. The menu had a reasonable selection of traditional Thai dishes. For the main course, I decided to go for the green curry it was tasty but nothing too outstanding. The service was good. The staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean and well maintained but the atmosphere didn't have anything to impress me. Overall, The Great Thai Restaurant is pretty good. It's not the best I've been to but also its not the worst either. If you're in the area and looking for some decent Thai food it's definitely worth checking out.
