Visited the shop recently and was very disappointed. The lady behind the counter wouldn't speak to me? The sandwich was very dry and I will not be visiting again. I dont usually post reviews but this visit warranted it.

Board outside said Bacon Sandwich with hot drink £3.20. Fair price but... She asked me if I wanted an egg added. Ok thanks. Final price £4.80!?! When I mentioned the sign, I just got a rude answer back "yeah, that's just for a plain Bacon Sandwich". Coffee was good. The overly-salty sarnie went to the seagulls.

Asked for two hot beef sarnies they came in unbuttered ciabatta buns with one slice of cold deli beef and slightly warmed gravy. We were charged £8. You can probably get a half decent joint of beef for that price,what a disgrace!! Never again.

I came here to try the Mince and Dumplings but the mince was tasteless, the dumpling looked dry and I saw the cook put the mash potato in the microwave to be heated up which is wrong and it was lumpy. The carrots and peas were nice But would I return to the Granary certainly not after that.

Meh!  £2.60 for a Ham and Cheese sandwich in a seedy bun...  1 very thin slice of Ham, a sprinkling of grated orange cheese. No butter or margarine, very dry, very boring.  Other sandwiches on display looked similarly boring, no exciting flavours, etc.  No wonder this shop is so quiet when the others have a queue out of the door!  Won't be going back.

I have been going to this shop for many years. The food and service levels are amazing.  The food is always fresh and tasty with plenty of options, and the staff are always welcoming and helpful. From Paul

Basic menu, decent prices..staff won't be nominated for any customer service awards any time soon.

Been coming here for a long time food is spot on especially the cajun chicken wraps and jacket potatoes

Loved my cup of tea on a morning from here. Lovely friendly bunch of girls.xx
