I had lunch today with family first the waitress put my teacup on the table never told me where to get the tea or if she was coming back with tea food was terrible ale pudding over cooked meat was all dry mash potatoes were certainly left over from yesterday over cooked processed peas to enable space for dessert l had to clear our own dishes by placing them on another table staff very unfriendly never been before and won't be back l would not recommend to anyone else best to avoid it a total waste of money more so it was my birthday l said this to the waitress but she never said a word no happy birthday a total disaster wish we had gone elsewhere they should refund us.

It was ok. The cooked breakfast was good. The pub was clean enough, and good value. It was just a bit to dark and gloomy inside, but considering it was an old cinema I suppose it's hard to be anything other. Good for the town that it's there!
Went here for breakfast, does what it says on the tin. You know what you are getting.nA major positive was staff cleaning the class on the doors.nA major negative was 2 staff members cleaning the ceiling corners, lights, etc when there were people around the areas with food.
Classic Spoons in the best way possible. I prefer real ale and it's always fantastic with a great range of choices here. Food is always on time and hot. This is a quality Spoons worth a visit.
