Went for lunch today Monday and was surprised that there were a fair few tables already taken. I went for the vegan macaroni cheese not somethingyou see often! and vegan sticky toffee pudding and they were both lovely. My friend enjoyed her prawn cocktail salad with chips on the side. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. It would be lovely sitting outside on a sunny day!
This place is 10x better than it used to be. Both Bar food or restaurant meals are fantastic, we visited on restaurant week so it was a cut price. The food was fantastic and the service was great, it looks lovely inside compared to pre renovations
Drove past the Inn and liked the look of it so turned round and popped in. Varied menu. Bar 2 snugs and a restaurant. Had Strathdon chicken and sea bass. Very tasty although vegetables could have cooked for 2 more minutes
The staff were helpful and pleasant, even moving a table when I dropped my Hearing-aids battery. After the meal was served, to our large group, they came around to replenish dinks. Always a great apu , when I lived nearby. Now under new management it is maybe even better !
My friend and I had a fantastic midweek lunch which we both very much enjoyed.nWe both had fish and chips and could not fault the wonderfully light and crispy batter that coated the delicious, flaky, fresh, white haddock. Served with chips and peas, we both thought it was really good value for money. The service was friendly and prompt.nWe will certainly return in the very near future.
