Place had solid food and good price. Good choice of drinks. Service good. Its not posh but seems like good pub. My visit was lunchtime so it might be different on evening times. Will give it more visits to find out.
We could see that this pub had been recently refurbished and was under new management so we went in for a drink. It was spacious inside with a well set out bar and plenty of chairs and tables plus a garden area which I'm sure will look much better in the future when it matures.nnThere were wall TVs for sports, a pool table and darts area. Everything looked new and clean.nnThey had no beers on tap which was a shame, but I tried a pale ale and that was okay. Sadly, whilst we were there, there was a drunk walking around the bar for a good 20 minutes shouting and making a nuisance of himself. None of the staff attempted to quiet him down or remove him, and if this continues to happen I'm sure the pub will not be very successful. We would not go back there.
Food was well cooked and presented, lively pub atmosphere, good drink selection although in terms of a restaurant it's on par with a wetherspoon's
OK night out. Food OK and good value. Drinks fairly priced. Karaoke DJ let staff sing far too many times, so some paying customers got put out, but otherwise a fun night. Plenty of parking space.
Can't fault it, good friendly service, tasty food. Seemed very popular with the locals and very busy when we were there
