Lovely solo meal during a work trip to London. The bartender was so friendly, suggested I move to a more comfortable seat and let me sample a few beers before choosing my point. The chicken tikka masala pie was incredible as were the chips served with it. I really liked the cozy, friendly atmosphere. I would happily return for another meal!
This charming pub offers an extraordinary Indian-inspired roast dinner that is an absolute delight. The friendly staff and the pub's distinctive character create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Highly recommended!Food: 5/5
Well worth a walk from London Bridge. This Desi pub has great food and great character. Tasty dishes to satiate the inevitable hunger after a few drinks. The pub also has quite a history with it having been the after work drinking hole for Stock, Aitken and Waterman. I sat there, beer in hand, trying to imagine what it must have been like with Mel & Kim or Rick Astley bowling up to the bar.
A lovely little 'Desi' pub, with a good range of beers, and Indian food, including Indian-style Sunday Roasts. It's an independent, so had much more of a choice about which beers it stocks than most pubs, and it uses this freedom to have some good local beers. Very cosy, and very friendly staff - highly recommended
Gorgeous little pub, with a fabulous Indian inspired menu which I cannot wait to come back and try out!Service: 4/5
Wonderful pub with an incredible menu of fusion Indian/Anglo pub grub. I definitely recommend the curry pies! We went on the live music night and it was a wonderful atmosphere and I'll definitely be back to try their roasts! Definitely book a table if you want food or a seat on the busier music nights, which I found very easy to do online
Stopped in on the way to The Oval. Warm welcome, great range of beers and great food. Bloody marvellous.Food: 5/5
Excellent little pub hidden in the back streets of Southwark. Be warned its very popular and a lot of the tables were pre-booked. Great range of craft ales and staff are passionate about what they sellService: 5/5
As one of relatively few London pubs serving Indian food, I've wanted to visit the Gladstone Arms for a while and I was not disappointed. Went in for lunch and the atmosphere was very warm and friendly. The food I tried, chicken tikka with rice, was delicious and clearly cooked with some care. Beer was also great. Looking forward to going back.
Pub is a little small bathroom could use some attention. The food however is truly amazing and compares with a few Michelin star restaurants I have experienced. The chips fries were the best I have ever tasted and they have truly accomplished a great fusion of Indian and English fare!Food: 5/5
