I bought the Ginexperience for my friend as a birthday present. First she was a bit sceptical about the 3 hour session, but we both thoroughly enjoyed it! We had soo much fun and learned a lot about Gin. Even made our own. Can only recommend this. Our host Joe was absolutely Gintastic!!
Fabulous place been twice in a few days. If I was local this would be where you find me. Lovely cocktails Nd a decently long list. Also knowledgeable enough to go off menu and have a great time. Lovely service. Cannot praise this place enough
Quick to be shown s table, but then the spirit of good service ends. After an eternal wait and frantic waving, we were finally offered to place our orders, at least half an hour after being seated. However, the Soho Spritz is really a treat!
We were bought the Ginstitute experience for a wedding gift and what a gift. A fabulous walk through the history of gin, generous and delicious drinks served and the the opportunity to make your own blend of gin. Sam was a great host and it was a real fun experience for gin lovers… generous on the gin too!!
We had an absolutely amazing time with Carmen and Sam as our hosts at the Ginstitute. The evening was informative, entertaining, and delicious! We learned a lot about gin and they were very generous in their offerings. We are so excited to try our own bottles of gin! Would highly recommend.
Went to the ginstitute - absolutely loved it. Instructors were amazing. The course was excellent, the gin was amazing, the history bit was excellent, overall course great value. Highly recommended.
The staff is very friendly, that's the good part. However, I was deeply disappointed in the so called "local lager". It tasted like Bud light. The food is something you'd expect a teenager who is just learning to cook to make. Don't go here, there are plenty of other nice places in the same neighborhood.
A great experience. Learnt a lot about the history of gin which was way more interesting than I thought it’d be. Took my mum even tho she’s not a huge gin drinker. Sampled the Tom Collins and a couple other cocktails. Once we’d finished the history and endless cocktails we went next door to make our own. This involved tasting a lot of pure alcohol which i thought I’d hate. But they were actually all very good. Our host was knowledgeable and helped lots with our concoctions. Was feeling suitably tipsy at the end. Got to take home our own made gin as well as one of theirs and some tonic. Should keep me going for a while!
Had a great time at the gin experience. Christmas present from my partner. Not super expensive once the gin you take home and provided cocktails are taken into account. Highly recommended.
The Ginstitute offers a great travel through the land of Gin ! A 3 hours session to learn about the history and the making of the once-not-so-much-loved spirit. The climax happens when it's our time to create our own Gin under the careful supervision of our spirit maker. One great experience in the heart of Notting Hill.
