This was a really enjoyable tour. Charlie and the team were welcoming and incredibly well informed. We had a welcome drink on arrival, learnt a lot about gin and its history, tasted the two gins they produce, toured the distillery and learnt about the actual process involved, and finished with learning the art of making a perfect gin martini. Afterwards we stayed and enjoyed the bar and sampled some gin infusions, as well as purchasing some treats to take home. I would not hesitate to go to Jensen's again and thoroughly recommend it.
Myself and my husband had most amazing time on the 3rd of March. We didn’t expect that it would be so interesting. The best choice to spend Friday evening. Have in mind that spaces filling quickly so book in advance. We learned a lot! Lot of history from Angus and amazing cocktails from Charlie. They both have a wonderful personality.
An excellent few hours spent on the Jensens Gin tour. Angus and Charlie are great hosts. Both very knowledgeable about the history and distilling process of gin, lots of information and good humour to keep it interesting. Great opportunity to try some different drinks.
This small local London distillery is the home of Christian Jenson’s unashamedly ’Old School’ London dry style gin. They use 10 botanicals all of which were originally available in the local area of London. I actually missed out on a formal tour and tasting experience because they were booked out until late October but Angus invited me to drop in anyway and I was very fortunate to have a little private tasting and a big chat with Charlie about the origin of the distillery etc. While there, several local restaurant representatives came in to grab boxes of the pre made cocktails, which seem very popular. I came away with a few myself! I really appreciated the time Charlie spent with me. There was one little thing I found surprising, Charlie’s view that ‘water is water, the same everywhere’. I don’t think you can compare water in a large city with the captured rain and spring water available in a rural area. 4.5
Enjoyed the distillery tour and tasting. Charlie and Angus were great hosts for group. Good selection of drinks to sample and these make cool presents. Charlie gave a great overview of the history of gin and origin of Jensen’s Gin. Would recommend tour as a fun evening out
Had an amazing Gin Tour experience with a drink in your hand within the first 5 minutes of entering ! The bartender and tour guide are great down to earth people with personality. The experience is fun, interesting and a great way to explore gin with an independent. Make sure you buy some of the tonic on the way out. You won't regret it!
WOW! Just WOW!! I wandered by one day while exploring the neighborhood near a friend’s home. I was welcomed in and enjoyed EVERYTHING! This place is surprisingly delightful. The gin is delicious. The service and knowledge is top notch. The added touch of historical gin glasses is a nod of respect and appreciation. So I picked up a small bottle of gimlet for later. It was delicious. I returned the next day when the out door market was booming. The Bloody Mary is epic. Several places hide behind the garnish of this classic cocktail. Here it is about the symphony of flavors to create an unforgettable experience. Oops. Came back for another. It is a Red Snapper. Not a Bloody Mary
I’m really disappointed that I have to write a negative review. Emailed since November to book our gin tasting, when I eventually got a response with availability I emailed back with my preference. I’m still waiting to hear back, emailed 4 times since November. The phone is never picked up and voice mails never returned. How are we meant to book our experience, if you don’t respond? Please advise how we can get a refund.
Very good gin distillery and shop. I got a bottle of Old Tom good price at £30 - complex and interesting flavours. Staff are friendly and offer tasting samples. Good to support a great product. Highly recommended
I got the tour as a gift and had a great time. Charlie was brilliant; a knowledgeable and engaging guide. Very tasty G&T on arrival, tasting shots through the tour along with a very interesting history lesson on how gin came to the UK, a talk though the gin making process, and a martini at the end of the tour. Highly recommended. Thanks, Charlie and team for a fab experience.
