The hotel staff were very pleasant to talk to and you felt like they had your best interests at heart. Unfortunately the bar was not open during our stay due to it being Easter Monday but the in room provided concessions were good.

The George Hotel is in a good location and has tremendous staff. Unfortunately, the rooms are worn and need a lot of attention. The breakfast included is excellent and the waiting staff provide a first class service. It's a shame the rooms don't match the standard of the staff.We stayed in 277 but we're moved due to the smell in the room. Without an issue we were moved to 126 which was not smelly, but the shower head was encrusted with mould and there were hairs everywhere. We almost changed hotels all together but as we had plans we didn't have time. I wasn't impressed and wasn't offered a discount. Maybe they're used to complaints?

A very comfortable hotel located in the centre of town. Service is very good and there is a bar and restaurant adjoining. Had the impression that service staff are under a little too much pressure, but nevertheless provide a friendly and professional service. Recommended for visits to Cheltenham.

Fantastic hotel. My girlfriend and I go there very year. Great central location and the breakfast is fantastic.

Hotel dirty, food very poor, staff must be very embarrassed to work in such an establishment. Senior management need in-depth training regarding UK hospitality standards.
