Stayed for a 2 night weekend in early December. Great location adjacent to The Brewery Quarter eateries and close to main shopping centre. NCP car park 400m away £12.50 for 24hrs. Good continental breakfast choices and pleasant eating area. Room was a little tired, and the bathroom was showing wear and tear. Good shower over the bath. We were on the top floor 4th and was quiet at night.
Easy to book. The room was spotlessly clean. Tea and coffee in the room, although the coffee maker didn't work. When we reported the fault they offered us free coffee in the restaurant which was good of them. We will definitely be back.
Great location in the centre of town but you pay the price of not having parking. There is a pay and display a few yards away but this is not a cheap option. It is free after 8pm though.nThe room was so hot and we could not find a way to cool it down and could not find anyone to ask. I know breakfast time is busy but we went to reception after the first night but nobody was there to help us.
Room is clean and functional but the wind noise from the window is dreadful as well as the noise from the street which seems to attract screaming teenagers.nInconvenient not having on site parking. We did know before we came that parking was 200m away. Got soaked getting here from this car park which we had to queue to get in to as it was full, 1 in 1 out, and will also cost us an extra £19.95 for 24 hrs Hardwork when your on a mobility scooter. Part of the roof has fallen off today in the winds and smashed on to the pavement in front of the main doors so now the doors are blocked off and the only way in and out is by fire exit stairs, as we’re on the 3rd floor there’s lots of stairs. Impossible if your on a mobility scooter which I am. Obviously this is not a frequent occurrence. This review is while we’re staying here as not very impressed with the wind noise coming from our non opening filthy window.
We had the pleasure of being looked after very well by the lovely Lainey in the Cheltenham Town Centre Hotel. She was just so lovely, kind and helpful - we cannot thank her enough for going above and beyond.nHerself and Tia are an absolute asset to the company.nThank you, ladies.
