Nice homely pub with welcoming staff and great service. Would visit this pub again for a drink with friends or a family meal as they caterr fantastically to both needs.

Not been in for a long while but I remembered it used to be good so popped in today. Steak was chewy and tough. My seasoned chips came unseasoned and not properly cooked so I couldn't eat them. When I complained I was told 'Oh it only means salt,' and a salt sellar was brought to the table. Half way through eating I realised my onion rings were missing. Complained again and they came out but were soggy. I do have to add my son had starters which were all good. But my meal and the lack of remorse or compensation by the staff has put me off returning.

Food is good the place as just been redecorated and looking very smart. Nice friendly pub

My food was ok, my partners food was not good at all supposedly ordered wraps the wraps were more like crisps there was no way you could wrap these around food. The starter was potato skins these were dry and not very nice at all. Overall a very average meal. Drinks reasonably priced,good selection And doombar is nice
