Absolutely AWFUL experience from start to.....oh I can't say finish, as the sorry tale continues! Ordered a wardrobe back in October 21 and some 6 months later, after excuse after excuse of why they couldn't deliver the wardrobe we'd ordered, delivered one....Damaged! So after another 6 weeks and more excuses...delivered again...the wrong thing! I've since cancelled the order and requested a full refund...unfortunately despite going elsewhere, ordering a replacement, having it delivered and assembled....We still have NOT received our refund as promised. Just get contually lied to and / or fobbed off with promises of a senior person who will contact us....which of course NEVER HAPPENS! An absolute nightmare company to deal with!
I am still waiting for a brass bed that I ordered and paid more than 1600 for last August 2021, having been told it would take 4-6 weeks. I have tried to be patient because of the pandemic and ensuing supply line disturbances. It is now 18 April 2022, eight months since I placed the order. I have, in the past several months, spoken with Paul and Matthew, among other representatives of the firm, all of whom promised to phone me back with updates. No one ever phoned me back. They never emailed.
Incredibly bad customer service. Big delay of 2months, then when it came the mattress was faulty with dips but they refuse to refund! Spoke to a very passive aggressive man on the phone Mathew who refused to listen,empathize, spoke over me, and hung up. Would not recommend.
Ordered my mattress online and asked for it to be delivered by a specific date. Got a call the same day to confirm and say they had changed delivery company to ensure it arrived in time for me. Got another call the night before to say what time they would be coming and a further call 10 minutes before arrival so we could make sure our old mattress was ready for collection too. Great communication, great price and I LOVE the mattress! Very happy thank you!
Brilliant service from a local independent family led company.. we bought a sofabed and they have a great choice of styles and colours and at very reasonable prices. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable who organised delivery too.! For beds, mattresses and all furniture no need to shop out of town..
Bought a mattress from this company for delivery on the 16th of August. The did not deliver it on this date when I phoned up to find out what was happening they stated that it should have been delivered to them on the 9th but was not on the order but they never told me so I took a day of work for nothing. I then spoke to a man whom claimed he was the owner and made loads of promises and didn't keep one. So that just explains why the company is in such a mess. Ended up phoning them several times to arrange to get my mattress but not once did they phone me although they kept promising. I would never buy from this company again and I would not recommend them to anyone. The price difference between them and dreams was £45 and I wish I paid the extra
Avoid at all costs. These online outfitter are rogue traders and as a customer you have no rights. Matthew the operations director has no accountability, has a superior complex and is extremely rude and unhelpful. !
Was a bit wary when I read the reviews but I had a very positive experience. Contacted office when bed was due to enquire about delivery, communication was great and they arranged it all within a few days. Delighted with the bed and service throughout. Delivery guys were excellent.
Useless, is what springs to mind. Website said all items in stock, which was the only reason why purchase made. Pure lies, email received to say don’t contact them within first 3 weeks really!!??!, just paid you £500, contact you when I like!. No email notifications or updates, just me constantly calling for update, to be lied to ‘it’s coming in next week’ - 5 weeks later and still no bed, no delivery time, nothing. So, cancelled order to be told the person who processes that is not in for a week. What total BS this company is!! My advice is to Avoid idiots such as this!!
Fantastic service. Fantastic price. The mattress I bought was so much cheaper than anywhere else and it was delivered the next day. [unlike most companies which have a 2-3 week delivery time] I received emails and text messages to keep me informed of it's delivery time and the two delivery men even carried the mattress upstairs. I cannot fault FGS Furnishings and I can highly recommend them. I will definitely use them again. Sara Davies
