My daughter ordered a takeaway for mothers day at 6pm we ordered early as we knew it might be busy. We hadnot received our order an hour later and were told it would be 30 mins.40 mins later we rang again, told food wasn't ready yet and offered us a can of drink and a promise of speedy delivery. 2 hours 20 mins we are still waiting for our food….. If you are thinking of ordering a delivery I would suggest thinking again. Poor service and poorer attitude
I'm vegan and was looking forward to the "new vegan menu" advertised. Upon arrival I noticed oyster sauce included and asked about it. The staff member did not understand what "vegan" meant. It appears they have just swapped in meat alternatives and left the recipes the same. I did not go ahead with my order.
This is my favourite local take away! I've been coming here for years. I've tried the others around here and this one is the best fortaste, value and service. They are so friendly here and the food is always piping hot! 5 stars!
TERRIBLE DELIVERY TIMES....The food is OK, nothing super special just an OK Chinese. The real problem lays when placing an order for delivery. You are told delivery time is 1 hour. Again tonight I found myself calling again after 2 hours to ask where my food was and that it had just left and would be another 20 minutes. So a 2 hours and 20 minute wait. If I were told at the beginning I would NOT have ordered from here. I do want a 2 and a half hour wait for food. There's plenty of other Chinese out there that can manage a delivery....... NOT RECORMENDED
Been using this Chinese for 30 years but today will be my last. More time spent on the phone with customers food getting cold. One customers food was left on the counter for 15 minutes before the girl finished on the phone and passed it over. My order was missing the rice, like how can you have chicken curry with no rice. 3 customers left when I was standing waiting all saying the same thing. Find yourself a new Chinese takeaway this one has gone down hill big time
If you used to use this place a year ago it was average at best Now I think you have a long way to go to get a better takeaway . Ask for salt n pepper mushrooms they are lushnessFood: 5/5

Lovely food & very friendly staff we have a Chinese from here every Saturday well recommend they even know & have stored what we have as we have the same thing each week
****Adding this review has deleted my old review from a year ago, ordered near enough the same, and it was fresh and tasty***** Not been here in a while, Ordered Beef Chow Mein, Curry Sauce, House Special Fried Rice, Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings. The beef chow mein, was soggy, not oily but soggy, like more wet.. Salt & pepper chicken wings, looked to be cooked twice, you could peel off the batter, not good, the whole wing with batter had no seasoning, they were plain!... the garnish included the usual, onions, red pepper, garlic, but no further seasoning just looking at thier menu, I can't see the salt & pepper dish, but why didn't they say this as it was a telephone order. The house rice, was nice... but standard 1 king prawn, would be nice if they added 2 perhaps. All in all very disappointung, 21quid.. 21:30 or before pickup another customer waiting for pickup... Saturday 4th Feb. Didn't have the free crakers, if they were stale, would have been the last straw. Albeit, the meal not good at all, will swerve for year again... big sigh..
