Had a lovely roast pork dinner on Aug 23rd while visiting for the day, delicious fresh vegetables and a delightful and helpful young waitress. The place inside is quaint just like the name.

The perfect spot to enjoy a genuine traditional English cream tea. perfect location overlooking the promenade and sea front. very friendly team. the food is delicious and very well priced. The surroundings withing the cafe are will take you on a nostalgic trip back to the war years. They do excellent coffee too.
