The food was absolutely delicious. The Festive hand carved turkey meal was both well presented and plentiful Theo brought the food and drinks over and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend The Fox
Had my daughter’s first birthday meal here on Saturday and it did not disappoint! Any issues were resolved straight away and the staff were so lovely and friendly!nTo say there were 32 of us all the food was spot on and had no issues at all!nTheo has been great throughout all the planning and lead up and I couldn’t thank him and the team enough for such a lovely night!
A warm and welcoming atmosphere. Theo and the team were amazing with the service they provided. The food was absolutely delicious with generous portions. This pub is a true gem. Like to say a big thank you from the moment we walked in to leaving your team were incredibly friendly.
Great food at a good price and really good with my allergies. There’s always a wonderful atmosphere plus they have a super fun pub quiz where Theo really cheers us up on a Sunday before the week starts and all round wonderful bar staff that always make us feel so welcome. Plus a perfect location whenever I’m waiting for a train!
Really lovely and cozy atmosphere has a real fire and good selection of drink options. But the food is absolutely abysmal. The steak sandwich wasn't a sandwich. More like a slice of toast with steak on top. And the steak! It was so tough I almost choked. It was actually inedible. I don't normally complain but this time I had to and asked for it to be removed from our bill. The rest of the food wasn't great but we didn't want to be unreasonable. The person on the bar seemed really cross with me, as if they cooked it. Very disappointing as everything else was fine. Just the food was really bad.
