Been coming here for the last 30 years and never had a bad meal . Atmosphere always good with friendly staff and great service. The meals are priced well and great quality to.The prawn cocktails especially seems to me personally the best in the country.

Home cooked food at fantastic value. Vast menu. Staff very obliging and attentive. Very friendly and fantastic atmosphere. Bar area made as the inside a galleon ( The Flying Dutchman).
Staff from Chefs to Management all friendly and helpful.

We ended up at the Flying Dutchman because our original choice had suffered a fire and had to close. What a stroke of luck it was to turn up at the Flying Dutchman. The four of us voted the carvery and the apple pie the best that we had ever had. The staff were chatty, amazingly friendly and polite, and we will definitely be going back.
