Lovely place for a lunch or even a couple drinks with family or friends. Not expensive as it's a part of the Wetherspoons pub franchise. Clean and tidy. Nice group of people who seem to be regular customer's.

This pub is very good value for money. I've had cheap and tasty breakfasts and lunches there. The pub is spacious with good quality, homely seating and furnishings. The only problem can be with the fact that it is a pub and during busy times, ordering at the bar can be slow. Apart from this and the occasional heavily inebriated clients, it has great value, tasty food, cheap drinks, good children's menu, clean toilets, spacious settings and beer garden. Edit: since I first wrote the review the prices have risen significantly and the quality of the food has slipped a little. I can only give it 4 stars now.

Great place good atmosphere. Cheap ale on Tuesdays. Sunderland floats where made here during WW2. But not much reference to the fact with the decor.

Standard large Wetherspoons in an impressive old car showrooms. Worth a visit for drink and reasonable meal.

Used the app Saturday night when the bar was busy, absolutely excellent service. Much quicker than queuing making it a pleasure
