My kids have always wanted to go on a canal boat so it was great to make that happen for them, the boat is super cute! The lady who served us was lovely and welcoming. There are a few steps down into the boat which were easily done but maybe take into account if you have any mobility issues. My partner was worried he would feel cramped being 6ft 5 but he was fine even if he felt seasick it hardly moves The breakfast wasnt my favourite but i will definitely be back for afternoon tea, the cakes looked delicious!
Would highly recommend, the food was delicious and great value for money. Atmosphere fantastic and what a difference to eat breakfast on the water. Staff are very friendly and attentive. 5 out of 5 will definitely be going again.
We had such a great time, this was our first time but we were with our good friends and they have been before & love it. It didn't disappoint, the food, the atmosphere, the price, the owners......we couldn't fault them. A quirky little place which people should visit! We even met Larry the cat which came for his helping of ham!!! Purrrrfect, in our eyes!!! Thank you for being so warm, welcoming & animal loving!!!
What a lovely little place. Can be romantic, can be a friend date, can even be something you do on your own. The key to this place is the fact that they keep the food simple. Very simply, there are no frills. You go here to put food in your belly and to enjoy the atmosphere. The lady serving is lovely making the food all the more nicer.
Food was fine, toilet next to kitchen wasn't. We were also asked to leave after 1 1/2hr, to allow another party in, however, we were not made aware of this at time of booking. We had afternoon tea, so felt rushed.
Lovely place to stop for a quick cuppa, breakfast, cake etc tooFood: 5/5
Great food, very welcoming with our small dog he even got treats. Definitely need to book, think we were lucky this morning Food: 5/5
Loved it. Here enjoying my days in the UK and a good friend invited me to this place. I had such a good time. Food was amazing, fair price and the saff was great. You will enjoy it here. Place looks small from outside until you enter. AMAZING place.
Really nice little quirky spot for a nice meal. My daughter loved it. We had afternoon tea which was lovely. They did a childs portion which was very good for the money. Cant recommend enough. Be going there again soon.
Absolutely Amazing experience, the breakfast was the best ive had for a long time, lovely pot of tea, and a slice of cake to die for, a must visit if you want an experience you won't regret.
