Couldn't fault the waitress Ella, she tried very hard to cover up what was a very tired pub.
Landlord eating crisps behind bar, and discussions about the amount of bread they had left heard from kitchen ( arrived on table cut so thinly you could look through it) very mean.
The menu was in a greasy cover with only a meagre amount on of the usual pub food, one of which at 6.30 pm was no longer available. 
Courtyard wasn't tidy or well kept, just looked like it could be so much better. What a shame

Very friendly pub with great food. First time we visited the fitzhead inn but we will definitely be going back.

Friendly welcome. Well presented rooms, comfy beds. Dinner on both nights was lovely and reasonably priced. Pleasant courtyard to enjoy. Attentive service without being overbearing.  All staff were friendly and made the stay more enjoyable.
Would recommend despite the satnav taking us on some very interesting routes to get there.

Nobody there when i arrived
 Paid for 8 days in advance. Tired and hungry
 No shops or cafe around here.
