Friendly service but a little slow. We had the afternoon tea at £20 a head. Although there were four of us they recommended paying for three as we had two children. A good plan as there was plenty. Food was nice, sandwiches a little dry at the edges. A good experience but probably not worth the price if I'm honest.

We love the Fine Food Store. The staff are lovely really helpful & welcoming. I thoroughly recommend the food and coffees. Cakes are delicious and portions are generous. It's not a chain and it shows. Lots of veggie options on the imaginative menu.

Had a lovely afternoon tea which had lots of different things to try. Perfect scones. Lovely staff Only thing for us was we felt rushed out as they were expecting another booking. It was a treat for us and we don't get together much so we would have liked to stay a bit longer.

Stopped in Stamford on a whim rather than eat in an watery on the A1. We were both very impressed with the food and service and gave commented that we would definitely make the effort to eat here again.
