Went here after Christmas for coffee, tea and a small bite to eat. The tables were a bit dirty and sticky, but we asked to have them wiped down. Coffee was alright, nothing special, and hot chocolate according to my company, very good. Staff seemed a bit impersonal or stressed, not sure. But perhaps it's expected around that time of year. Overall a decent place with an old English interior.

Been coming here for many years. First visit for several years but still as lovely as ever. Gorgeous cakes and lovely coffee. What more could you want?

Pricey ~£2.75 to eat a brownie in, ordered bacon and egg roll, took over 40mins to arrive. However, good selection of food and drink.

Wonderful service. Hot tasty food and spending cakes to take home. All in all a lovely little place to go for a pot of tea or a lunchtime meal

A lovelly place with a character that is sadly missing in places these days. The staff are very friendly and the food is of a very good standard. The only thing I found lacking was the coffee...it was warm, not hot and had an odd aftertaste that could not be attributed to the blend (I am a self confessed coffee snob so individual results may vary). All in all it is well worth a visit and I reccomend the full english breakfast, you wont be hungry after!
