Lovely roast! Large and generous portions. Friendly staff. Might be my new favourite place to dine in the area! Can't believe we've just found you!! Thank you for the lovely meal. We'll be back! Vegetarian options: good amount available Parking: lots of parking spots available Kid-friendliness: quire a few kids there when we dined
We had an excellent Sunday roast today. The food was plentiful, hot & delicious. The service was fantastic. Thank you.Food: 5/5
I looked this place up online, is quite pricey as it only had an A la Carte menu, but was meeting friends there so had no choice. On arrival I thought this pub was a bit tatty.. wasn't as nice as I had expected. I had a burger and the bun was really dry and fell apart.. my friend left all of her bun, feel there wasn't enough choice for vegetarians. The chair I had was ripped on the seat, the plastic flowers on all the tables looked like they should of been in a fish tank and the service wasn't great.. not very enthusiastic. I feel this place could be improved, I wouldn't return.
Surrounding areas are lonely but the inner side of the Restaurant is nice with simple accommodation and roof top & side wall are covered by plane glasses so that sunlight is passing through that.Food: 4/5
Lovely atmosphere with separate restaurant , open garden to eat and drink. Child friendly as there is a play area and chickens on site. Friendly service and the food was filling and delicious.
Brilliant Riverside pub! Large beer garden with plenty of space. Fantastic menu with a wide range of dishes. Even without a reservation food was brought out well before the 45 minutes I was advised. Cannot fault the service. Dog friendly, children friendly. They also have access to the river Darent for kids and dogs to play in.
Lovely meal. Reasonable prices, really nice conservatory area for dining. The garden backs on to the river darent so i can imagine its lovely in the summer but we went on a very cold and wet early spring evening.Food: 5/5
We ate here for the first time this evening as a belated birthday meal for my husband. Everything was perfect, lovely atmosphere from the minute we walked through the door. Food was delicious and the waitress was lovely. We will definitely return and I would highly recommend Vegetarian options: Plenty for vegetarian Dietary restrictions: Would be able to cater for any restrictions. Parking: Parking out the front and around the side.
We did a walk and visited the pub for a drink afterwards with our dog. Very welcoming and lovely staff. The Mulled Wine was delicious and most welcome on a cold day. The pub is bright and nice decoration with a fire place but it lacked a bit in warmth. Overall though a lovely experience and would recommend a visit, with your dog if you have one
This place was always very good for a Sunday roast and this did not disappoint at not being able to get there due to covid19 however the normal excellent service wasn't there, don't know if it was the kitchen couldn't cope of they were just understaffed. However I'm sure the management will pull it all back together. The roast dinner is the best around in my opinion. .
