A wonderful local pub! We’ve come here quite a lot over the years. It was my Grandmothers favourite pub and one of her last wishes before she died was to go there for a meal. Sadly she never made it, but the pub owner was so kind in offering to cook her whatever she wanted. That kind of customer service is greatly appreciated. Would highly recommend!
Had a fantastic lunch at the Fifield Inn. We sat by the fire, hosted by a lovely team. Having not been there for two years, it's amazing to see how it's changed. Great food, great staff, we had a wonderful great time!
Following a family loss just before Christmas 2022, our 15 family members & two dogs, spread throughout Southern England were looking for a place to meet early on Wed 28 December, around 11am for tea/coffee, stay for lunch and leave around 4:30-5:00pm. The Fifield Inn team were so accommodating and could not have done any more to make us feel welcome and ensure the day went without a hitch and their tireless effort was appreciated by every member of our group.
Dog friendly, cosy pub with great service! Excellent food and drink! It’s a lovely spot whatever time of year! Arun went above and beyond today in processing a voucher for us! Amazing spot!

Service was really slow, took ages to take our order, then ages for our meals to arrive. Other customers were coming in getting served right away and their meals were served way before us, maybe because they were friends with owner!!!! But not good, food was OK if a little cold when did arrive an hour after order taken. Won't go back.
Lovely place to eat. The food was really good and it was my mums birthday so they made a real fuss of her. Definitely recommend and will be returning soon

Went tonight for dinner for the first but definitely not for the last time. Super cute interior with a lot of attention to detail, fantastic garden area with lots of seating available. We had the seabass, which was a bit on the small side portion-wise, but according to my husband amazing he literally inhaled it, and the fish & chips, which clearly were the very best since we moved to this area three months ago. So glad to see they had a Ruddles on tap! The host and the rest of the staff were extraordinarily friendly, very attentive, and with just the right humour for my taste. I had the Espresso Martini after food, and it was just as good as the rest. We will be new regulars from now on!
