Stopped here with my family when driving past as we all noticed it glittering with pretty Christmas lights. Lovely atmosphere. Amazing range of beers and wines and we enjoyed it so much we decided to eat there and we were not disappointed. Delicious, generous portions served by attentive and engaging staff. One of the best local places I’ve been to for a long time. I would drive an hour again next Sunday just to go there again they were so good.
Absolutely brilliant pub with a warm atmosphere and lovely staff. Paul runs the pub so well and always makes an effort to make you feel welcome. Shannon works behind the bar and is so friendly and chatty. They both make the pub an absolute pleasure to spend time in. The rib Tuesday is a must. The ribs fall off the bone and are so tasty. Steak night Thursday is also an absolute bargain, tender and so well cooked. Dog friendly and a good selection of beers. Great outside area with plenty of seating. So glad the Grenfell is on our doorstep
I have walked past this pub many times and finally got round to visiting, which I am glad I did. To start with it has a lovely outside area which is dog friendly. Fantastic range of beers including from local breweries, which is a welcome sight. Good selection of food and great offers on different days and lunch. The food is also really tasty so this pub is worth a visit.
Had a breakfast there. The wait was a bit long considering it was not crowded at all, but the food was good. We got eggs and for the smashed avacado the bread was slightly stiff as if it was from yesterday? Even if it heating it up would have refreshed it. We also got Lattes, good taste but small mugs, so you go out feeling you needed some more coffee. Nice sitting place outside. Made up well with large shades to protect you from the direct sunlight. In the same garden, the fires and heaters give the place a warm and inviting look at night. Overall we liked it. Considering the reasonable prices we will go back at some other times, when we have enough time to wait for the eggs
Came for lunch with my 2.5 yo boy. They were so very welcoming, let us park while we had a walk then came back for lunch. The kids portion was huge and enjoyed immensely. Our pizza and plant burger where both incredible value and equally tasty. Overall a fantastic place to come and so very friendly with the little ones. Thank you xoxo
We had Christmas Day dinner here and it was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious and the service was very friendly. The staff went the extra mile to make the children in our group feel special and we had everything we wanted. I would definitely recommend Christmas dinner to anyone. And their food on normal days is also great!
I only discovered this place recently and so far have visited a couple of times - both occasions have been great! They serve amazing roast lunch. The staff are friendly and provide a great service. Highly recommend this place and will certainly be visiting again. They also have a lovely beer garden which is nice to enjoy in the summer :-
Very impressed by the setup up,the garden is all weather with lights heaters and flame features. The food menu is excellent and varied,had ribs they are as good as we had in the Fort Myers Beach USA. Tuesday is ribs night will deffo go again. The pub is notably very clean and tidy and the huge log fires are completely smokeless.
Friendly pub. I went with two friends for a late lunch/early dinner. Menu includes good range of burgers and so we all opted for one of those, a beef, a chicken and a jackfruit. The jackfruit one was lovely and the chips were nice and very fresh. Food was well presented. We shared a bottle of red which was very reasonably priced at £24, but wasn't great. I wish we'd paid a bit more and got a nicer one. The pub seemed very popular with families and there were two large groups will children when we arrived. Parking is very limited with maybe six spaces, all of which were taken when we arrived.
Really nice chicken burger although the burger is huge and the plates are small so gets a bit messy and hard to eat. Maybe a bigger plate rather than the small thin ones. In any case good food and good selection of booze, will definitely be revisiting
