We actually found this place by chance and we are so glad we did. It was lovely food in a beautiful setting with really helpful and tentative staff. We phoned ahead to ask if they had a highchair which they did and they were very friendly on the phone and extremely helpful. Once we got there we were seated straight away and asked if we wanted a drink. The service was quick but we didn't feel rushed. The food was fantastic. My husband got the pulled pork hotdog and loved it. I had a buffalo chicken burger which was delicious and our baby had a bowl of mushy peas. I would 100% go back again. Thank you. Puddings also good!
We visited here while on holiday in the area and was recommended to try by a member of staff at the caravan site we were staying on, having been told about the gorgeous views and it was dog friendlybonus for us!. On our first visit we both had the cider battered fish and chips and wow it was amazing! A really good sized portion and the batter on the fish was so crispy and tasty! Decided while we was there to book again for the next day steak night and this was also amazing and such a good deal! The steak was tender and cooked exactly how we asked for it. The views at this place just make it even more perfect. The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them, they made us and our dog feel very welcome. I would highly recommend a visit here if your in the area.
Superb place, fantastic food, friendly staff & very welcoming, only wish I’d found this place sooner; ordered two sirloin steaks and both cooked perfectly as requested, I love steak and this was one of the best I’ve ever eaten, just melted in the mouth; would be going back if it weren’t nearly the end of my hols but will certainly be going there again next year when we visit and more than once.
It was a fabulous place. The food was delicious and the view whilst you ate was amazing, great staff
Although located on a caravan park the reviews looked ok and said it had a lovely view so as it was a lovely evening I thought I would give it a try, The place looked ok from outside and on going inside and checking out the menu which didn't have a lot of choices I saw something I fancied straight away, chicken thighs with lemon and Jasmin rice. The view is visible from the whole place so we originally picked a seat inside but although only half full it quite noisy so decided to take a seat outside. If you sit inside it's waitress service if sitting outside you order yourself from the bar. Paid went outside about 5 mins later waitress came over to say what I wanted wasn't available, so disappointedly I chose Lasagne. Service was slow took 3/4 hour to get our food. The Lasagne was awful see picture it was made with what looked like pulled pork and only had one layer of pasta so it was like eating mush. I was going to tell the waitress but she never came back to check on us or was around when we left. So I have to deduct 1 point for lack of service, 1 point for horrible food, 1 point for long wait. 1 point for noisy inside. Consequently for me the only good thing about this place is the view. Won't be going back and I don't recommend it.
