You may not look twice if you were driving down the road, but we booked based on reviews. What can we say amazing pub food, huge portions so we wish we hadn't had starters! And the cost against other chains etc is unbeatable. Can't recommend enough
We nipped in to Farmers Arms after chatting up a local man who said the food was lovely and big portions too. He wasn’t wrong. We are staying in an AirBB in Ruthin.nWe both went for the lamb burger which was nice and the chips were plentiful and delicious, real home made food at a decent price. The meal was £25 for two, excluding drinks which is pretty good these days. The pub was a real local and everyone we came across was very welcoming. A lovely experience when in Ruthin.
This is a nice down-to-earth local pub serving food. A nice pint of local Purple Moose brewery real ale and a lamb burger with choice of cheese topping Red Dragon is a chilli cheddar. Friendly staff and a village atmosphere.
Lovely tasty lunch. Big portions at a reasonable price. There were 4 of us, and we all chose different off the menu. None of us were disappointed. The chips were good home cooked, a big thumbs up from me!
Great food with huge portion sizes. Would happily go again. Thank you!
