"The Fancott" public house is situated in Fancott, and is the location of the Fancott Miniature Railway. At the 2011 Census the population of the hamlet was included in the civil parish of Chalgrave

Good food, friendly and efficient service in a pleasant dining room with a nice atmosphere. I would describe the food as mainly traditional with quality ingredients. I had a gammon steak which was very good and a mulberry sorbet for dessert, also good. Several of the people I went with had been before. I would certainly eat here again.

A nice country pub that has been popular for many years. Good relaxed atmosphere and attentive staff make for a pleasant meal. A limited menu but something for most tastes. Not cheap and cheerful but nicely presented medium priced very good food. Definitely worth a visit.

Went to the Fancott for the works Christmas lunch. They served 70+ of us effectively and efficiently. Menu was lovely. Food was well presented and very very tasty. Lovely building, wooden beams and log fires. Helpful staff.

Went here for a Christmas eve meal. Lovely food, great atmosphere. The staff are helpful and friendly. Free Christmas hat to get you in the spirit. Advisable to book, especially for Christmas eve, but also weekends can sometimes be busy. If you go Christmas time wear a Christmas jumper!

Nice food and atmosphere. Service was good and efficient. Homely food and we'll cooked with good size portions. Outside in the summer is a miniature railway for the kids which is good fun. Nice pub.
