We boast a great selection of ales and lagers, and a comprehensive wine list so to suit most tastes, and of course non-alcoholic beers and soft drinks. Coffee is something we take seriously, so please come and enjoy a cup or two with us.Whether you enjoy a pie and ale, a hot chocolate and toffee pudding by the log fire on a cold winter’s afternoon, or chilled wine and a G&T on a summers evening, the Fancott is a perfect place to visit and relax all year round.Eat, drink and chat in the pub, restaurant or our unique ga"

The welcome was very good and they welcomed all 3 dogs and a water bowl for them as well. Food was good but service a bit slow . We would go back because we know the butcher who supplies the pub. Graham Ward
Great Location. Food was tasty & service was up to the mark. Our whole team had gone for Christmas Lunch. Would recommed It. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options available Kid-friendliness: Kid Play area available Parking: Enough Parking Places available.
Starters were great bruschetta and prawn cocktail then we came to the main course ploughman’s and a sandwich where the chips were soggy and dry and as per attached image the ham was not “roasted” , it was some sort of processed Children’s ham and the cheese had started to go mouldy ….
Great combination of a good pub, food and beer plus a miniature steam railway
A nice and quiet little pub, good food and friendly staff. Doors and ceilings a little low for a big guy like myself, but not an issue. Parking was no problem. Would definitely visit again if I were nearby.
We had a party of 10 on this very busy Festive Sunday lunchtime and were well looked after by the staff. Food and restaurant atmosphere was really lovely and comfortable. Was our first time here and will definitely come back. Kid-friendliness: Very child friendly Parking: Very good parking facilities
Worth a visit for the little railway alone - the kids and grown ups! love it - and it's clearly run with love! There's also a decent climbing frame with slide. We just had drinks as it was very busy due to Mother's Day, but will return to try the food another time. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly - great enclosed garden with mini railway and play equipment. Parking: Plenty of parking off-peak but can be tricky on busy weekends.
Great staff and great food. No need to say anymore. Had a great valentines meal. Food excellently cooked and staff friendly and polite. To cap it all there was live music.
Lovely evening for our work Christmas do. 2 courses for £30 or £35 for 3! £4 extra if you want the cheese board. Disco afterwards too. Staff very helpful and polite. A great evening.Food: 5/5
