Food quality was absolutely poor, soggy and cold. staff completely rushed my meal while yawning rudely and some even crossed there arms! I went to eat here because the reviews I seen online looked very good but I really don’t understand why?  I didn’t feel welcome at all and as this was my first visit I will definitely not be back!

Well tonight I had a craving for salt an peper steak and after calling 20+ chippys and other food shops with them all saying no never heard of it or no we won't do that I called famous gold star and was greated with yea we can do that no problem so shot over and picked up my order and well if I could give them 10 stars it wouldn't be enough fantastic service and even better food will be coming back here from now on my new chippy

I have eaten here for over 15 years, even when we moved away from Maghull we traveled to it, thank goodness I'm back in the area and there a lot closer, this place is spotless, the chips are always 100% perfect, and the owner and staff are always smiling friendly and thoughtful, I always get a Char Sui Pineapple meal + large rice+ large chips  and it's always fantastic, give it a try you won't regret it.

Always asked for lightly battered fish and it never is. Chips are always hard and cold.
