Superb homely place. Consistently good on service, menu options and deliciousness of the food. Real fire and fine real ales selection in idyllic rural location. What's not to like?

This is a lovely pub restaurant, friendly staff and a good atmosphere. I chose the steamed sea bass stuffed with a mousse, with mashed potato and watercress. I found it rather bland and would have preferred the fish to have a crispy skin. There was no vegetables apart from the watercress. My friend had sausage and mash which she enjoyed, but we both thought it was expensive for what we had. I will go back again though because some of the other peoples meals looked good.

Very pleasant atmosphere, good menu choice although a little light on healthy options. Staff friendly and helpful, plenty of parking

Part of Red Mist Leisure so the standard is always high for this gastro pub. We've been a lot as this is close to my mum's house and everyone has always been happy with their meal.
