Our popular menu of pub classics is served alongside a daily carvery, and the bar stocks a wide range of cask ales, draught beers, ciders, wines, and soft drinks. Very nice pub, that does Carvery every day. There is lots of seating areas, and the food was excellent, good choice of meats and the beef that I had was cooked to perfection and was really tender.
Beautiful clean and well kept establishment .meals very good service excellent. Very versatile menu to suit all classics, carvery, desserts, snacks, starters, grills and sandwiches.
Lovely welcoming environment. Customer service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. My husband had the gammon and I had chicken tikka. Both were well presented and the food was lovely. Easy access via ramp, plenty of room between tables and accessible toilets. We have been here several times before and since the pandemic and the standard has always been the same. Highly recommend.
Staff were so friendly and welcoming and checked in on us at various points to ensure myself and my family were OK. The chef at the carvery was very amiable and the self-serve experience was easy, smooth and well organised. The food was delicious and piping hot. We were so impressed, we ordered desserts too and these exceeded our expectation: especially the praline chocolate tart! We loved our whole dining experience, the atmosphere in the pub and the service provided. We will definitely be back... thank you!
Best Sunday carvery. Great value for money and lots of choice. Very busy but staff not flustered and very professional. Judging by the amount of people enjoying Sunday carvery you're obviously doing it right. Thankyou for a great lunch. Keep up the good work. Highly recommended.
Staff were friendly, there was a new member if staff behind the bar on her first day but she did very well! We both had regular carvery. Our only issue was the quantity of meat we were given turkey and gammon.... 1 slice of each The food was cooked nicely and tasted lovely, it would have been nice to have more meat or be offered more
WOW! What can I say. The food is fantastic, great portions , the staff were very polite , helpful making it an even better experience. I will be going again. Clean, tidy and a very pleasant surroundings I cannot recommend the Elms enough. Try it for yourself if you enjoy great food in a great environment and good people this is for you. My daughter love The Elms. We’ve always loved Carvery and normally go to “that bigger chain” but The Elms is close to my sisters but still 35 min drive from our home but so worth the visit. The service by the staff is brilliant. Tonight we were served by Jess on the bar who was so nice, polite and very welcoming and Donna on the Carvery who was again, really pleasant and friendly. The food was top notch as always and lovely and fresh, topped up regularly. There was an awful group of people who decided to be extremely rude and quite nasty and unpleasant to the staff while we were there Monday 29.08.22. The staff acting extremely professionally despite the rudeness. Well done for not reacting back. Will continue to visit our favourite place.
The food is fantastic. Friendly ,helpful, polite staff. Had a great meal in very pleasant surroundings. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a great place to eat. Will be going back and recommend to friends and family. Try it for yourself......its worth it .
We had 2 toddlers with us so were a bit concerned about disruption, but everything was chilled and relaxed due to the informal atmosphere. We ordered everything using the app so didn't see much of the staff. It was very busy anyway. Great menu with loads of options and chances to change things around
