Served a dirty mug.Then bought upstairs same dirty mug by waiting staff .Fish Luke warm, Chips not warm at all Told only two turned up. I've had to pay for such bad service. Won't be coming here again Shame because last time I come here I was impressed. My son washed the dirt off mug using machine hot water. Went for 2bd coffee both machines run out so not working. Very over worked , due to only two staff Man who served us looked spent out. Feel so sorry for so few staff doing so much They are lucky if they don't have a breakdown
A typical weather spoons but good food and nice atmosphere, upstairs is much better and brighter than downstairs. The food was good and well presented and despite a mix up with my order, the manager was very good, letting me keep both meals and apologised, it happens, but the main thing is making it right which he did with flying colours. For allergy info downloading the app is the way forward and allows you to filter the menu, just a shame U have to go back into the main menu to order, but this is the fault of the chain not the pub. Will definitely be visiting again, and thanks again for resolving the problem so fast and without questions. Stopped here with some friends after we did some shopping and we had a great time. We had lots to drink and some food together and overall it wad good. There was a sobbing lady who headbutted the wall but thibgs can't be helped. Overall a good weatherspoons and wasn't to busy either.Food: 5/5
Decent bar but food too expensive Bought the jalfrasi. Curry was not hot.nanbread was harder than my plate! Rice was cold too. Bar staff who served me went off duty b4 I could complain.Food: 2/5
Waited over an hour for food after going down and saying we'd been waiting for 40 minutes....still waiting and the guy spoken to came up on his break and said nothing after saying he would come and let us know what's happening. Food arrived cold. If could give 0 stars I wouldFood: 1/5
While I've seen many of the reviews and thought wow... having eaten in here I find the place really good. Have eaten here a few times, the mixed grill is really good. The staff are pleasant and helpful and if you need assistance they are on hand for that. Now for the negative.... it does get busy at peak times and hard to find a seat, the staff are also busy at those times but still handle themselves as you'd expect them too... some of the clientèle are a little kooky on night times but generally on the whole ok.. all you want from a wetherspoons is cheaper drinks, clean environment and food that's hot and edible served by friendly knowledgeable folk.. this place fits the brief.. only thing it's missing is background music.edited review so, I've been coming to this place for a year.. and honestly the people are friendly, you can't fault the staff they are amazing. The food is really good. Honestly needs some background music though! Edited again, kitchen staff are great if there are any dietary requirements, Jordan not the kitchen manager the other one super helpful, Adrian, Hayden,Taylor, Fallon, Becky all amazing Parking: There is a machine to pay. Very dog unfriendly, Brexiter owned hell hole. Some of the clientele can be very pugnacious. I will never darken it's door again. Toilets are upstairs.Food: 1/5
The staff in there are normally brilliant I've just popped in for food & drink, I'm waiting behind a gentleman who ordered a pint of lager, after he moved off the woman who had just served him instead of serving me looked in the direction of another customer in a different queue & said "is anybody waiting to be served" and proceeded to walk away to a customer who wasn't in her queue yes she did glance back in my direction but pretended she didn't see me. Do you know what covert racism is? yes I walked out, this has happened before in there amongst other places & of course she will deny it ever happened or she didn't see me because there wasn't any lighting at the time A large woman dressed in all black. 2.4.2024 13.15 ish
Nice pub but a bit run down. Still it’s a Wetherspoons so cheap drinks and good foodFood: 5/5
